Exciting Highlights at the 2024 CNE in Toronto

Don’t miss out on one of Toronto’s favorite end-of-summer events—the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) is back and promises carnival fun for the whole family.

From Aug. 16 to Sept. 2, the CNE will once again offer popular attractions like the Superwheel—the tallest traveling Ferris Wheel standing at 150 feet high—and 35 other exhilarating midway rides. This year, there will also be new additions such as an extreme sports show featuring professional skaters and BMX bikers.

In 2023, the CNE set a new attendance record with a total of 1,604,000 visitors during the 18-day event. This surpassed the previous record of 1,601,000 set in 2015.
Here are some of the top activities and shows to check out at the 2024 CNE.

Kids World

Located adjacent to the kids’ midway, Kids World offers a variety of activities for younger attendees, including child-sized rides and a playground for little climbers. From onstage entertainment to fun adventures, Kids World is perfect for young visitors.

Extreme Sports Show

Andy Macdonald, one of the oldest competing skateboarders at 51, will be making his CNE debut alongside a lineup of pro skaters, BMX bikers, and in-line skaters. They will showcase their skills on a 12-foot half-pipe in front of the Princes’ Gates.

Gaming Garage

The CNE will host the national Master Clash ft. Tekken 8 tournament in the gaming garage, with preliminary rounds in various cities and a $12,000 prize pool for the winner.

Byte Size Gaming Zone

Young gamers and families can enjoy interactive play in the byte size gaming zone, which will also feature a robotics competition and retro arcade games.
