Harris is president in all but name to shield Biden from blame

Many Americans are questioning: Who is truly leading the country right now?

The current president is seldom seen.

Recently, Joe Biden took a five-day break at his Delaware beach house (again) while Iran threatened Israel and the Dow dropped over 1,000 points due to a poor jobs report.

On Wednesday, his only public appearances were a brief stop at a White House conference and an afternoon intelligence briefing.

At 4 p.m., no less.

We have a president who is fading from public view, with only occasional exceptions.

He should have stepped down when he announced he wouldn’t run again.

How can he lead for the next five months when he’s already confessed he won’t continue for the next four years?

So far in August, Biden has had just one public event outside the White House, visiting a cancer center in New Orleans.

For the rest of the month, he has spent eight days at the beach.

Meanwhile, Kamala Harris has been giving the same speech at campaign rallies without answering substantive questions.

Americans, regardless of political beliefs, deserve better than this.

Biden hasn’t resigned because Democratic leadership doesn’t want Harris to be responsible for the administration’s failures on the economy, inflation, crime, and other issues.

With Harris as president, she would have to face the consequences of these failures that she helped create as Biden’s partner.

Biden hasn’t campaigned with Harris because she is distancing herself from him and his policies.

She is now promising changes that her previous policies could not deliver.

Harris is backing away from her past unpopular positions to appeal to voters.

This is why Biden remains in power, allowing Harris to present a new image that doesn’t align with her past positions.
