Multiple people have been arrested in connection with actor Matthew Perry’s overdose death, according to TMZ

TMZ reported Thursday that at least one doctor and multiple drug dealers have been arrested following law enforcement launching an investigation into Perry’s passing.

Additionally, multiple law enforcement agencies have executed search warrants and seized computers, phones and other electronic equipment to determine who supplied the actor with the ketamine that caused him to lose consciousness in October 2023 and drown in his hot tub.

The doctor and drug dealers who were arrested allegedly helped arrange and deliver the ketamine to the “Friends” actor.

Furthermore, the search warrant reportedly revealed text messages discussing Perry and delivering the ketamine to him. The texts allegedly also revealed how much Perry was willing to pay for the drug.

According to TMZ, the actor had been getting ketamine infusion therapy for anxiety and depression, but the last therapy session was a week and a half before his death, which means that the ketamine in his system was not doctor-prescribed.

TMZ also revealed that authorities got a search warrant from Charlie Sheen’s ex, Brooke Mueller, who was in treatment with Perry.

However, it was noted that Mueller “is not connected” to the arrests, according to TMZ

The DEA, U.S. Postal Service and LAPD are all involved in the investigation, which was confirmed in May.

The arrests come after Perry was found dead in the jacuzzi of his home in the fancy Pacific Palisades neighborhood in Los Angeles this past October. Initial reports indicated that he had drowned, but a toxicology report confirmed he died from acute effects of ketamine.
