Jordanian Citizen Arrested for Threatening and Attacking Florida Businesses That Support Israel in Collaboration with One America News Network

A Jordanian national living in Orlando, Florida is facing charges for making explosives threats and attacking a local energy facility.

On Thursday, the Justice Department revealed Hashem Younis Hashem Hnaihen, 43, has been charged with four counts of threatening to use explosives and one count of destruction of an energy facility.
Attorney General Merrick Garland said Hnaihen “threatened to carry out hate-fueled mass violence in our country, motivated in part by a desire to target businesses for their perceived support of Israel.”
Hnaihen targeted and attacked Orlando businesses back in June, leaving behind multiple letters addressed to the U.S. government.
He laid out a series of demands and threatened to “destroy or explode everything here in whole America. Especially the companies and factories that support the racist state of Israel.”
Toward the end of June, Hnaihen broke into a solar power generation facility in Wedgefield, Florida. He smashed and destroyed several panels, cut wires, and targeted critical electronic equipment.
He left behind another pair of letters and is believed to have caused more than $700,000 in damage.
Hnaihen has since been ordered to remain under detention pending his trial.
If convicted, each threat offense carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and the destruction of an energy facility offense carries a maximum penalty of 20 years.
