Lawyers for Hunter Biden Claim Trial is an Attempt to Tarnish Character
Lawyers representing Hunter Biden have accused special counsel David Weiss and his team of engaging in “character assassination” during a tax evasion trial involving their client. In June, Biden, the son of President Joe Biden, was found guilty of three felony charges connected to the acquisition of a revolver in 2018. The lawyers claim that the prosecution is unfairly targeting Biden in an attempt to tarnish his reputation.
