Democrats ignore the genuine election concern: illegal immigrants voting

With the November election approaching, the focus on election integrity is becoming more prominent. 

Thursday’s decision by the Supreme Court to uphold an Arizona law that requires proof of citizenship for voter registration forms highlights this issue.

How did we reach a point where this became a problem?

Democrats have long downplayed the issue of “noncitizen voting.” 

Across the nation, tens of thousands of voters have been removed from voter rolls in the past decade for admitting they were not citizens during interactions with state and local governments.

In Democratic-run areas, illegal immigrants are allowed to vote in local elections, creating a pathway to participating in federal elections as well.

The Biden-Harris administration’s lenient stance on illegal immigration may have resulted in up to 27% of illegal immigrants being illegally registered to vote.

The Justice Department’s lack of action against illegal voters is puzzling given the Democrats’ stated commitment to “defending democracy.”

Senate Democrats recently blocked the SAVE Act, a bill aimed at addressing illegal voting, raising suspicions about their motives.

The threat posed by illegal voting to democratic legitimacy is significant, and the disregard for secure and legitimate elections is alarming.

The SCOTUS decision is a positive development, but concerns remain about potential thousands of illegally registered voters. Officials must prioritize real election integrity to prevent chaos in November.
