The musical group ABBA has demanded that former President Donald Trump stop using their music after he played several of their songs during a campaign rally.

On Tuesday, the newspaper Svenska Dagbladet reported that the GOP nominee played several of ABBA’s songs at his campaign rally in Minnesota including “Money, Money, Money,” “The Winner Takes It All,” and “Dancing Queen.”

A video of the ABBA members was also shown during the campaign on a big screen alongside messages urging supporters to donate.

ABBA’s record company, Universal Music, claimed that they were not asked for permission to use the music or videos and that footage from the event must be “immediately taken down and removed.”

“Together with the members of Abba, we have discovered that videos have been released where ABBA’s music/videos have been used at Trump events, and we have therefore requested that such use be immediately taken down and removed,” they said.

“Universal Music Publishing AB and Polar Music International AB have not received any request, so no permission or license has been given to Trump,” they added.

Björn Ulvaeus, one of the ABBA members, spoke on the matter saying “Our record company Universal makes sure it is taken down.”

ABBA’s demand comes after many artists have spoken out against the Trump campaign using their songs, including Céline Dion, Johnny Marr, Isaac Hayes, The Rolling Stones, and Sinead O’Connor.
