Ben Stiller is optimistic about Kamala Harris bringing ‘change,’ while Sen. Chris Murphy challenges conventional thinking on border security and more

Chronicles of misleading misinformation and perilous fantasies

This statement:

“Republicans don’t support . . . addressing the border.”

— Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.), Monday

Our response: Excuse me? The border was calm when a Republican (Donald Trump) was in charge.

It wasn’t until Joe Biden and the Democrats took over that illegal migrants started pouring in in large numbers.

“Asylum seekers” even mention Biden’s “invitation” as their reason for coming. Irony is, Murphy claimed he “can’t make up a story that’s not true” — while telling that entirely false story.

This alert:

“[Trump will] enact a nationwide abortion ban, with or without Congress.”

— VP Kamala Harris, Aug. 22

Our response: We get it: Harris’ reputation is so bad she can only try to win votes by scaring voters (liberals) about a fictional abortion ban.

Problem is, Trump has repeatedly stated his support for letting states decide on the issue — and would veto a national ban if Congress somehow passed it.

Spot the difference:

“Trump’s border wall is just a stupid use of money. I will block any funding for it.”

Harris, 2017

vs.

“If she’s elected president, Kamala Harris pledges to spend hundreds of millions of dollars on the wall.”

Axios, Tuesday

Our response: Harris has ridiculed Trump’s border wall endlessly, labeling it a “medieval vanity project.”

As Biden’s border czar, she took no action to enhance it, even as millions of migrants entered. Now that Americans are angered by the dire outcome, she’s pretending she would get tough.

Sorry: She won’t deceive anyone.

This reasoning:

“[I’m] very excited about [Harris] . . . because it’s time for change.”

— Actor Ben Stiller, in a video posted Wednesday

Our response: Change? Does Stiller really believe transitioning from Harris-Biden to Harris-Walz will bring about significant change?

Harris has clearly stated she will continue the inflation-inducing federal expenditures, woke policies, and other hardships of the past four years.

Only voters longing for more of the same — price hikes, border chaos, crime, wars — should feel “excited.”
