Protesters in Tel Aviv call for an agreement with Hamas following the deaths of hostages

Israelis gathered outside the government compound in Tel Aviv, Israel, at 12 p.m. ET on Sep. 1 to demand an immediate deal with the Hamas terrorist group. Six of its hostages held in Gaza since Oct. 7, 2023, were killed and their bodies retrieved earlier on Sunday.
