Controversial naked statue of Donald Trump near Las Vegas labeled ‘disgraceful’ | US News
A controversial statue of a nude Donald Trump near Las Vegas has been criticized by Republicans as “deplorable.”
The 43ft-tall effigy of the former US president has sparked outrage and is causing a stir on a plot of land off a highway in Nevada.
The Nevada Republican Party has strongly condemned the statue, saying it is offensive and lacks meaningful dialogue.
They emphasized that President Trump and Republicans are focused on important issues like reducing inflation, securing borders, creating jobs, and building a better future for Americans.
The controversial statue, titled Crooked and Obscene, has been described as 43ft tall, 10ft wide, weighing 6,000lbs, and made of foam over rebar. The artist behind the work intended for it to provoke discussions.
The statue is set to be removed and relocated to key swing states by Monday night.
