Falsehoods and Deceptions: Karine Jean-Pierre’s Gaslighting on Sanctions, Tim Walz’s Fabrication of Tiananmen Square, and Other Examples
Diary of disturbing disinformation and dangerous delusions
This statement:
“[The Trump administration] will use the mechanisms of the DOJ to go after people who are their political foes. This is something that has never really happened in the history of this republic.” — former US Attorney General Eric Holder, Sunday
We say: Huh? Has Holder been in a coma, or is this pure projection?
The Harris-Biden Department of Justice has been obsessed with “going after” former President Donald Trump for the past 3½ years. Democrats are the lawfare junkies, not Republicans.
This claim:
“I was in Hong Kong on June 4, 1989, when, of course, Tiananmen Square happened,” Gov. Tim Walz, June 2019 (reported Tuesday).
We say: He wasn’t. He was in Nebraska.
But that hasn’t stopped him from bizarrely repeating this lie over the years.
His response when he was finally called out? “I’m a knucklehead at times.” No argument there.
This assertion:
“This administration has not lifted a single sanction on Iran,” — White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, Tuesday
We say: Pure bunk. The Harris-Biden administration has waived sanctions on Iran multiple times, including once in March just six weeks after three US service members were killed in an Iran-backed drone strike.
The terror-sponsoring state has been given continued access to billions of dollars, thanks to Harris-Biden.
This column:
“The Biden administration’s strategy has put the United States in a much stronger geopolitical position today than it was four years ago,” Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Tuesday
We say: In another case of terrible timing from Team Harris-Biden (à la National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan’s now infamous Foreign Affairs essay), this outrageous argument from Blinken was published the same day Iran launched over 180 missiles at Israel.
The truth? Biden’s constant kowtowing has empowered the likes of Tehran’s Ali Khamenei, China’s Xi Jinping and Russia’s Vladimir Putin to see what they can get away with, knowing Joe and Kamala Harris will do little (if anything) to stop them.
