Kamala Harris is making every effort to lose crucial Pennsylvania

Kamala Harris and Tim Walz are facing a challenge in Pennsylvania.

After realizing the issue, Harris, her team, and national Democrats are now aware of the situation. But is this realization too late? And can they come up with a solution?

President Biden’s poor debate performance in June revealed his inability to lead effectively, prompting national Democrats like Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama, along with Team Harris, to take action.

A shift was deemed necessary by the “Democratic Politburo” to replace “Uncle Joe” with a new and improved candidate: Kamala Harris.

However, what Harris and national Democrats failed to anticipate was that while this strategy may have been suitable on a national level, it was a flawed approach in Pennsylvania. Winning Pennsylvania is crucial for a Democrat to secure the presidency in 2024.

The initial mistake made by Harris and her team was underestimating the importance of Pennsylvania. Biden’s connection to Scranton and his presence in northeastern Pennsylvania secured many Democratic votes. Without Biden, Harris may struggle to retain these voters.

For three decades, voters in Philadelphia and its suburbs viewed Biden as their “third senator,” which made it challenging for the GOP to label him as far-left in 2020. However, with Harris as the new face of the party, this narrative may be more convincing in 2024.

Furthermore, Harris’s decision to reject Gov. Josh Shapiro and opt for Gov. Tim Walz was another misstep. Shapiro’s familiarity in greater Philadelphia and his ability to campaign effectively in key areas across the state could have been beneficial to Harris’s campaign.

It remains unclear why Harris chose Walz over Shapiro, but this decision may have negative implications for her in Pennsylvania. Walz’s representation of the modern left wing may not resonate well with voters in the state.

Additionally, Harris’s economic message and policies have failed to resonate with voters in Pennsylvania. Her attempts to emphasize the success of “Bidenomics” and promise to fix the economy have not been well-received, especially among minority communities affected by economic challenges.

Her stance on fracking and other policy positions have also raised concerns among rural Pennsylvanians, further complicating her campaign in the state.

National Democrats must reconsider their strategy and candidate choice if they hope to secure Pennsylvania in the upcoming election. The outcome of this decision will not only impact the 2024 presidency but also set the tone for future battles in Pennsylvania.
