Shocking Poll Results Show Kamala Harris Leading in Iowa as Vice President Encourages Americans to “Keep Calm-ala” in Saturday Night Live Sketch
Kamala Harris has taken the lead over Donald Trump in a poll in Iowa, a state Trump easily won in 2016 and 2020.
The vice president holds a three-point advantage in the midwestern state, according to a Des Moines Register/Mediacom Iowa Poll of 808 likely voters.
“The poll indicates that women – especially older women or politically independent women – are spearheading the late surge towards Harris,” noted the poll.

The poll reveals Ms. Harris leading Mr. Trump 47% to 44%.
With a margin of error of 3.4 percentage points, this poll follows another Iowa Poll conducted in September that showed Mr. Trump with a four-point lead, as reported by the newspaper.
Winning Iowa would award the victor six Electoral College votes, with 270 needed to secure the presidency.
Both presidential candidates are focusing on crucial battleground states like North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin in their efforts to gain an edge in this closely contested White House race.
Early voting is already underway ahead of the election on Tuesday.
Speaking in North Carolina, Mr. Trump addressed a crowd in Gastonia: “If we win this state, we’re gonna win the whole ball game.”
“We have overcome every attack, every abuse, and even two assassination attempts,” he added. “And now it all comes down to this.”

Addressing a gathering in Virginia, a non-battleground state, Mr. Trump confidently predicted victory not only in the Electoral College count but also in the majority of votes across the country – a feat he fell short of achieving in the last two elections.
Meanwhile, Ms. Harris headlined a star-studded event in the state of North Carolina following musical performances from Jon Bon Jovi and Khalid.
Despite being interrupted by protesters, she capitalized on the moment to reinforce her campaign’s democratic ideals, promising to work towards ending Israel’s conflict in Gaza if elected president.
“It’s okay, everyone,” she reassured. “Democracy can be complex. This is what democracy looks like.”
