Trump Unveils New Senior Staff Additions
President-elect Donald Trump has made announcements regarding senior staff hires and cabinet picks, many of whom will need Senate confirmation.
Among the recent announcements, Dan Scavino will serve as assistant to the president and deputy chief of staff, known for managing Trump’s social media and creating viral content.
Stephen Miller has been named deputy chief of staff for policy and homeland security adviser, recognized for his strong stance on immigration and prior role as senior adviser in the Trump White House.
James Blair will take on the role of assistant to the president and deputy chief of staff for legislative, political, and public affairs, having previously served as political director for the Trump campaign and Republican National Committee.
Additionally, Taylor Budowich will be assistant to the president and deputy chief of staff for communications and personnel, with previous experience in Trump’s leadership PAC and a supportive super PAC.
Trump expressed confidence in his selections, stating, “Dan, Stephen, James, and Taylor were ‘best in class’ advisors on my winning campaign, and I know they will honorably serve the American people in the White House. They will continue to work hard to Make America Great Again in their respective new roles.”
