Launch a commission to investigate the extent of the border crisis under Biden
Following the incident where two Jordanian illegal aliens attempted to drive their truck into Marine Corps Base Quantico, Republican lawmakers and the governor of Virginia sent letters to senior Biden Cabinet members seeking information, all of which went unanswered.
Similarly, requests for information about a major FBI counterterrorism sting leading to the arrest of eight Tajik border-crossers suspected of bomb-making were also ignored.
These instances reflect a pattern where the Biden administration tried to conceal information about the worst mass migration border crisis in American history, which has brought in at least 10 million foreign nationals.
As Donald Trump assumes the presidency and Republicans control both houses of Congress, a bipartisan national congressional commission is crucial to address the unanswered questions.
Throughout the crisis, President Biden, Vice President Harris, and their staff denied any issues at the border, despite record crossings and visible problems. Efforts to obtain real data through Freedom of Information Act requests were stonewalled.
A congressional commission would cut through the red tape and provide much-needed transparency.
The Rogers Commission’s report on the Space Shuttle Challenger disaster and the Tower Commission’s investigation into the Iran-Contra Affair highlight the significant impact these commissions can have. President Trump aims to reverse the damage caused by Biden, and a commission would help reveal the extent of the crisis.
Ultimately, a commission could provide valuable information for future historians and ensure accountability for the Biden administration’s actions.
