Authorities in Pennsylvania have apprehended a man regarded as a “person of interest” in the lethal shooting of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.

On Monday, local police in Altoona, Pennsylvania took the individual into custody following a tip-off received from local authorities. He was found sitting at a McDonald’s.

The detained man was reportedly carrying a manifesto, a firearm, a silencer, four counterfeit ID cards, and additional items considered “consistent” with those one would expect a suspect to possess.

A source within the New York police department indicated that the man bears a resemblance to the suspect, particularly noting similarities in their eyebrows.

Brian Thompson, the CEO of UnitedHealthcare, was fatally shot outside his Manhattan hotel on Wednesday, December 4^th. Authorities have indicated that this was a targeted incident.
