Joe Biden and His Administration Are Causing as Much Harm as Possible Before Departing

Joe Biden and the Democratic establishment are clearly intent on inflicting as much harm on America as possible before they exit. 

Last week witnessed an unprecedented wave of presidential pardons, including 1,500 commutations for “nonviolent” felons, with many already serving their sentences at home after being released during the COVID pandemic.

However, the White House escalated the tally by neglecting some truly appalling crimes: a Pennsylvania judge who accepted bribes to send children to a profit-driven “detention” facility; an Illinois official who embezzled more than $53 million from a town of merely 15,000 residents; and a Massachusetts woman convicted in a fentanyl trafficking conspiracy.

And this is merely what has come to light within the first few days as local news outlets nationwide investigate the extensive list.

All of this aims to obscure Joe’s primary focus: obtaining a pardon for his corrupt son Hunter. 

And what a pardon it turned out to be: not only exonerating him for the crimes he admitted to, but providing an extraordinary blanket amnesty for anything and everything Hunter might have engaged in over an 11-year period. 

This occurred after the president vehemently stated in public he would never consider such an action. 

If there exists a more blatant way to convey to America that all their suspicions regarding elite self-dealing are valid — that rules, regulations, and laws are irrelevant if you wield sufficient wealth and influence — we would be eager to hear it. 

It’s hardly surprising that only 22% of Americans support the pardon, and numerous Democrats, including Sen. Amy Klobuchar, primary challenger Rep. Dean Phillips, Colorado Governor Jared Polis, and even his former top aide Anita Dunn, have voiced their dissent. 

However, catering to his family isn’t the administration’s sole concern. 

The staff surrounding our elderly president are aggressively pushing through a range of progressive initiatives, blatantly disregarding the needs of average Americans.

Joe has promised another round of student-debt relief after he has burdened taxpayers with over $175 billion. 

Then there’s the ludicrous work-from-home arrangement Biden negotiated with the union representing some 42,000 Social Security Administration employees, further diminishing the professional requirements for a substantial portion of our overgrown federal workforce and undermining Team Trump’s anticipated government efficiency initiatives. 

Joe is even threatening to veto a bipartisan bill aimed at creating new federal judgeships because he and his allies fear Trump filling those positions. 

So much for the norms the Democrats have been decrying for the past decade! 

Meanwhile, the insiders are hastily distributing the last of Biden’s authorized billions on frivolous expenditures like federal grants for rural high-speed internet, CHIPS Act giveaways, and other progressive pet projects. 

In simple terms: Biden & Co. have faced a staggering failure during their single term, despite enjoying the backing of every major media outlet and much of corporate America. 

They have orchestrated, through a combination of poor policy choices and disdainful arrogance toward voters, a generational blow to the Democrats. 

And now, rather than learning from these missteps, they are doubling, tripling, and quadrupling down. 

Donald Trump has a considerable amount of cleanup to do once he assumes office. 

Fortunately, America stands with him in this endeavor.
