Fatal Helicopter Crash Claims 4 Lives at Turkish Hospital
Four individuals lost their lives in southwest Turkey on Sunday after an ambulance helicopter collided with a hospital building and subsequently crashed to the ground.
The helicopter was departing from the Mugla Training and Research Hospital, with two pilots, a doctor, and another medical professional on board, according to a statement from the health ministry.
The regional governor of Mugla, Idris Akbiyik, informed the press that the helicopter initially struck the fourth floor of the hospital before crashing down. Fortunately, no injuries were reported among those inside the building or on the ground. Authorities are currently investigating the incident, which occurred in dense fog.
