Thousands of Presents Distributed to Kids Affected by Hurricane Helene
According to Beloved Asheville, the gifts were delivered mere hours before Christmas.
In Asheville, North Carolina, thousands of children who suffered due to the impact of Hurricane Helene have received Christmas gifts from a nonprofit organization.
“Surprises wrapped in love and kindness,” they added.
The organization reported that the gifts were delivered just hours before Christmas.
The organization has also provided more than a dozen tiny homes to families in need.
In September, Hurricane Helene, classified as a Category Four storm, struck Asheville, located in the western region of North Carolina, resulting in substantial damage. The storm caused at least 103 fatalities and impacted nearly 400 buildings. Over $27 million in FEMA assistance has been provided to residents of North Carolina.
