James Wood, Spencer Pratt, and Other Celebrities Impacted by Pacific Palisades Fire
A fire erupted in the Palisades around 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, leading to the evacuation of 30,000 residents in the vicinity.
Among the numerous individuals affected by the rapidly spreading brush fire in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles are actor James Woods and reality television star Spencer Pratt.
“Just to inform you, we managed to evacuate safely. At this moment, I do not know if our house has survived, but unfortunately, homes on our street have not.”
Pratt, 41, along with his wife Heidi Montag, 38, suffered the loss of their home in the fire. The couple, known for their appearances on the MTV reality series “The Hills,” has two sons: Gunner, 7, and Ryker, 2.
“I’m seeing our house go up in flames via the security cameras,” Pratt shared in a Snapchat video.

Stephanie Pratt, the younger sister of the television personality and currently residing in London, expressed her heartbreak online for her brother and his family.
“I just spoke with my dad—he attempted to save my brother’s house, but the winds were so fierce that nothing could be done,” the 38-year-old shared in an Instagram story.
“Even the fire station in the Palisades is gone. The Pacific Palisades is entirely in flames. No one is present there,” she added, while confirming that her parents managed to evacuate safely.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department reported that the Palisades fire began around 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday. By the evening, it had consumed nearly 3,000 acres without any containment.
The rapidly spreading fire has prompted the evacuation of approximately 30,000 individuals, with many forced to leave their vehicles on congested roadways.
Steve Guttenberg, star of “Police Academy” and a resident of the area, helped firefighters by relocating abandoned vehicles on Palisades Drive.
“What’s happening is that people take their keys with them as if they are parked in a lot. This is not a parking lot. We need people to move their vehicles,” the 66-year-old actor told local media outlet KTLA.
Guttenberg urged locals to leave their car keys behind to facilitate the movement of vehicles by fire officials and allow fire trucks to reach the affected areas.
“There are families up there, pets up there, people who genuinely need assistance,” Guttenberg explained.
“It’s crucial for everyone to support each other. It’s essential to come together and prioritize safety over personal belongings; just evacuate. Take your loved ones and leave.”

Intense Santa Ana winds are exacerbating fires in various regions of Southern California.
Brush fires were reported on Tuesday in areas near Altadena and Pasadena, approximately 10 miles northeast of downtown Los Angeles. Additional fires have ignited in the San Fernando Valley’s Sepulveda Basin and Sylmar region.
“I awoke to the same flames. Our beloved Palisades is devastated. So many memories. We’re praying for rain to pour down on Los Angeles,” she added.
“Thanks to the firefighters and first responders for your incredible efforts to ensure safety and combat these fires. You are true heroes. So many memories.”
“Jurassic World” actor Chris Pratt took to Instagram on Tuesday evening, encouraging his followers to pray for those impacted by the catastrophic fires.
“Immense gratitude goes to the courageous firefighters and first responders putting in endless hours to protect lives, homes, and wildlife while battling these fast-moving wildfires driven by strong winds,” he remarked.
“You are genuine heroes, and we are profoundly thankful for your bravery and dedication. Let’s unite and support each other during these challenging times.”
