President Biden asserts efforts to address border issues, LA anchor stumbles on wildfire water correction, and additional updates.

Chronicle of alarming misinformation and perilous illusions

This assertion:

“Republicans in Congress aimed to politicize the border situation. We fought to resolve it.” — President Biden, Tuesday

Our response: The administration maintained that the border was secure until it was evident that this falsehood would undermine the Democratic Party’s chances in the election.

Subsequently, Democrats began to claim that a bill rejected by Republicans, which would have exacerbated the border crisis, was somehow a miracle solution.

Biden can’t manipulate the narrative here: He owns the border calamity.

This refutation:

“Contrary to what [Rick] Caruso has claimed, no firefighters have reported shortages of water.” — FOX11 Los Angeles’ Melvin Robert, Wednesday

Our response: Moments after Robert made this statement, a reporter from his own station confirmed that LA firefighters were indeed running low on water while combating the rampant fires in the area.

Mayoral candidate Rick Caruso ran in part on preventing such shortages, exacerbated (naturally) by mismanagement from Democrats.

Kudos to the field reporter for standing by the truth; shame on Robert for engaging in partisan public relations.

This fact-check:

“Meta States Fact-Checkers Were the Issue. Fact-Checkers Conclude That They Were Incorrect.”

— The New York Times, Tuesday

Our response: Ha! The fact-checkers assessed their own assessments and discovered they’re not simply a bunch of biased, leftist censors.

More evidence that Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg hit the nail on the head when he noted these politically skewed entities “have eroded more trust than they’ve fostered.”

This declaration:

“The key question is: Is the president fully present? And the response is: without a doubt, yes!” — MSNBC’s Symone Sanders-Townsend, Sunday

Our response: Exercise a bit of self-respect! Progressive journalists ranging from Matt Yglesias to Chris Cillizza have all acknowledged their oversights in recognizing Biden’s evident decline.

Observing obstinate Democrats and leftist commentators continue to deny that Joe has lost his grip is truly cringeworthy.
