Elise Stefanik Takes on the UN with New York Resolve

The United Nations is gaining a reform-minded advocate and America First champion in Elise Stefanik.

Throughout her ten years in Congress, Elise has consistently delivered impactful results for her Upstate New York district, the North Country, and the country at large.

Recently, she has taken on the role of the dean of the New York GOP delegation and, as House Republican Conference Chair, has become the highest-ranking New York Republican in House leadership in over a century.

Her steadfast commitment to achieving real results for diligent New Yorkers is demonstrated through her legislative achievements and her resolve to expand and preserve the House Republican majority.

As the Senate evaluates Elise’s nomination as President Trump’s ambassador to the United Nations, New York expresses its deep gratitude.

The New York Republican delegation greatly values her leadership, friendship, and relentless support in our efforts to serve New Yorkers statewide.

Whether it’s highlighting Gov. Hochul’s shortcomings or providing a moral compass against the extreme leftist policies that afflict New York, Elise and New York Republicans have worked tirelessly to amplify New Yorkers’ voices against the neglect of the Albany Democrats.

This united force of New York Republicans has successfully advocated for crucial funding for 9/11 heroes and their families, stood against the radical Defund the Police movement in support of our courageous law enforcement, addressed the rise of antisemitism in institutions like Columbia University, and revealed the corruption behind disgraced former Governor Andrew Cuomo’s deadly COVID-19 nursing home directive.

As evidenced in November, the American populace endorsed President Trump, his America First principles, and a broad Republican coalition.

We take pride in the substantial support Trump received from New York voters.

From the national to the local spectrum, Elise Stefanik has consistently represented her constituents at the highest levels of government while empowering an unprecedented number of pragmatic Republicans throughout the state.

Although her leadership in Congress will be missed, her determination and ability to implement reforms at the UN will greatly benefit our nation.

Regrettably, the UN, like many entities, has fallen prey to the menace of antisemitism, anti-Israel sentiment, and a general misuse of American generosity.

It is in dire need of reform, and Elise Stefanik is undoubtedly the ideal candidate for this task.

This moment is bittersweet as the New York Republican congressional delegation bids farewell to a formidable ally and friend, yet we are optimistic about her leadership on the international platform coming at such a crucial time.

We will continue to champion Elise’s strong America First, New York First principles with the resilience and determination of New Yorkers.

With global crises stemming from four years of ineffective foreign policy under Joe Biden, it is imperative to restore President Trump’s America First leadership on the international stage.

We eagerly anticipate advancing our collaborative work as Elise Stefanik embarks on her new role as US Ambassador to the United Nations, promoting the president’s peace-through-strength national security agenda.

As proud New York Republicans, we are thrilled to see Elise — a devoted Upstate New Yorker — represent the United States and help reform the issues plaguing Turtle Bay.

Republicans Andrew Garbarino, Nick LaLota, Nick Langworthy, Mike Lawler, Nicole Malliotakis, and Claudia Tenney represent New York in the US House of Representatives.
