Leading N.Y. FBI Agent Commits to ‘Dig In’ During Purge of Senior Officials

James E. Dennehy, head of the FBI’s New York field office, remarked that the agency was engaged in a “battle of our own” and pledged to “dig in” following the dismissal of several prosecutors connected to the Jan. 6 criminal case by the Trump administration, which also requested the identities of FBI agents involved.
