American Airlines Aircraft Engulfed in Flames at Denver Airport, Prompting Evacuation



No injuries have been reported as of 6:15 p.m. local time.

Passengers had to evacuate from an American Airlines aircraft that caught fire on March 13 at Denver International Airport.

The incident generated “visible smoke” while the plane was stationed at gate C38 on Thursday evening, according to local media reports. The passengers were safely evacuated, and the emergency slides were deployed, with the airport confirming that no injuries were reported by 6:15 p.m. local time.

The airport authorities stated that the fire was extinguished.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Denver International Airport have not yet responded to inquiries for comments by the time of this publication.
