Senate Approves Legislation to Reclassify All Fentanyl-Related Substances
Just hours prior to the Senate’s approval of a stopgap measure on Friday to prevent a government shutdown, the upper chamber passed a bipartisan legislation that permanently designates fentanyl-related substances as Schedule 1 narcotics, ahead of their temporary classification expiring on March 31.
