Why are Democrats Becoming Even More Extreme After Their November Defeat?

As we approach five months since their significant loss last November, Democrats from New York to Texas to California are becoming increasingly erratic.

Let’s start in Gotham, where City Councilman and comptroller candidate Justin Brannan (D-B’klyn) is advocating for the divestment of city pension funds from Tesla stock.

Not due to it being a poor investment, as it has increased over 22,000% throughout its history, despite a recent decline, but rather because he believes “Elon Musk is harmful to democracy.”

In other words, forget about the retired police officer or teacher enjoying solid returns, and the taxpayers who might have to cover any shortfalls; forget the advancements in green energy brought by Tesla: Elon Musk is deemed baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad!

This bizarre leftist posturing, instead of providing tangible benefits for everyday people, is exactly what voters have indicated they do not want.

On the opposite coast, Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) remains oblivious to the electoral drubbing her party faced due to disastrous border policies and recently made headlines at an anti-Trump rally by suggesting the president should deport his wife, Melania.

Her strange comment was intended as a dig at Donald Trump for his criticism of birthright citizenship, yet Waters only managed to demonstrate her lack of understanding of both birthright citizenship (Melania, born in Slovenia to Slovenian parents, does not qualify) and the dynamics of American politics.

Voters clearly signaled their willingness to replace an incumbent president and sympathetic Congress members over failure at the border, and this is the senile trolling response?

And saving the best for last, meet the rising Democratic figure Rep. Jasmine Crockett of Texas.

This week, she mocked Gov. Greg Abbott by calling him “Governor Hot Wheels,” poking fun at his wheelchair use (although she later attempted to deny her intention).

Her revelation of being ableist at a Human Rights Campaign gala is just the cherry on top of this absurd sundae.

Moreover, she has clearly distanced herself from political reality.

Does she honestly think even Abbott’s detractors would rally behind such a ridiculous insult?

The Democrats’ folly is good news in one respect: Their unwillingness to learn from November’s lessons suggests they may soon find themselves out of power by 2026, making it even less likely they’ll impose their crazy beliefs on everyday Americans.
