How Leftist Rhetoric Incites Violent Extremism While National Democrats Remain Passive

The American left consists solely of a veneer of online activism masking a persistent potential for real and perilous political violence.

Last week, the offices of New Mexico’s Republican Party were targeted by arson and defaced with graffiti reading “ICE = KKK”. Thankfully, there were no casualties or injuries.

The intent behind this act of terrorism was unmistakable—despite the clear message from the American electorate in November’s election, which called for border enforcement across various demographics: We will resort to burning, breaking, and killing until we achieve our demands.

This is undeniably terrorism. It should be noted that ICE does not resort to arson to further its objectives, whereas the KKK certainly did.

Similarly, the recent rash of vandalism against Tesla, which includes Molotov cocktail attacks and smaller-scale acts of defacement, stems from the left’s animosity toward Elon Musk’s initiatives to enhance governmental efficiency.

This sequence follows a predictable pattern: Emotional, inflammatory language from prominent Democrats, their affiliated journalists, and activist groups, followed by physical actions carried out by militant factions—then we see the expected weak condemnation from liberal politicians, some of whom actively encourage such behavior, like Rep. Rashida Tlaib.

This approach can be traced from the riots following George Floyd’s death to incidents like the terror acts related to the Dakota pipeline, and incidents from Seattle’s CHAZ to the arson of a pro-life organization’s offices in Madison, Wisconsin in 2022.

Also, remember that during the period known as the Great Awokening, lives were lost: Oscar Stewart died when rioters set a Minneapolis pawnshop ablaze; two black teenagers were shot in CHAZ, resulting in one fatal casualty.

This all occurs while the left vehemently claims that Republicans are the true threats to democracy.

This context reframes the recent “Hands Off” rallies, which were filled with extremist language regarding the actions of the elected government.

The phrase “peaceful protest” carries a different weight when juxtaposed with the ongoing political violence that Democrats struggle to denounce, much less outright condemn.
