<p>The individual accused of stealing Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem’s Gucci bag, which contained around $3,000 in cash, has been apprehended.</p>

<p>As reported by the <em>New York Post</em>, the Metropolitan Police Department and the U.S. Secret Service have taken the suspect into custody and are currently seeking a second individual linked to the incident.</p>
<p>Interim U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia, Ed Martin, informed <em>NBC 4</em> that both suspects are undocumented migrants and that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is now involved in the investigation.</p>

<p>On Easter Sunday, Noem was dining with her family at The Capital Burger in Washington, D.C., when the suspect took her luxury bag, which contained cash, her driver’s license, passport, medications, cosmetics, blank checks, a DHS badge, apartment keys, and a Louis Vuitton Clemence wallet.</p>
<p>Authorities reported that the bag was located on the floor beside her when it was snatched.</p>
<p>Video footage captured a white male wearing an N95 mask, dark trousers, and a baseball cap as he took the bag and exited the restaurant.</p>
<p>Sources who reviewed the footage informed the <em>New York Post</em> that the suspect appeared to look around before grabbing the bag, concealing it with his jacket, and fleeing.</p>
