Analysis: Biden Campaign Contributors Supporting Anti-Israel Demonstrations

A recent report reveals that certain supporters of President Joe Biden are providing financial backing to the anti-Israel protests happening at U.S. colleges.

Politico’s report highlights the involvement of Jewish Voice for Peace and IfNotNow, two groups supported by the Tides Foundation, in organizing protests at Columbia University and other college campuses.

Funded by Democrat donors like George Soros, David Rockefeller Jr., and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation in the past, the Tides Foundation has contributed nearly $500,000 over the last five years to Jewish Voice for Peace, a self-described anti-Zionist organization, according to Politico.

Additionally, other groups participating in pro-Palestinian protests receive financial support from a foundation linked to Susan and Nick Pritzker, who are heirs to the Hyatt Hotel empire.

The Republican National Committee took note of the report and pointed out that some of Biden’s major donors, including George Soros and the Gates Family, are funding the anti-Semitic protests seen on college campuses nationwide.

Some Democrats are also questioning the rationale behind left-wing donors supporting progressive groups involved in these protests.

Concern about the potential impact of the anti-Israel protests on Biden’s electoral prospects in the upcoming November election has been raised. Some worry that if the protests persist until November, it could become a significant issue for Biden, while others believe that if the protests subside, the impact on the election may be minimal.
