Appeal Restores N.Y. ‘Equal Rights’ Constitutional Amendment to Ballot




A proposed amendment to New York’s constitution that prohibits discrimination based on “gender identity” and “pregnancy outcomes” has been reinstated on the November election ballot by a state appeals court. The decision, made by a group of midlevel appellate judges, overturned a previous ruling that had removed the amendment from the ballot.
