Ben Carson and Trump discuss saving the country.
Former Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Dr. Ben Carson discussed with former President Donald Trump what they can do “to save this country,” Carson said Sunday.
During an interview on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures,” Carson expressed concern that the United States is “in trouble.” When asked about a potential vice president position, Carson replied, “I don’t want to talk about what we’ve talked about, but we’ve discussed what we can do to save this country and that we will work together to ensure that America remains America.”
Carson criticized the Biden administration for politicizing the Justice Department and “using it to injure your opponents politically.”
“These are things that occur in China and Russia and Cuba. Those are not things that are supposed to occur in this country,” Carson said.
