Biden Administration Focuses on Pennsylvania GOP Voters Who Supported Haley

The Biden campaign has launched a six-figure digital ad buy in Pennsylvania to target voters who voted for former Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley over Donald Trump in the state’s primary this week, according to the Hill.

The ad, titled “If you voted for Nikki Haley,” shows Trump criticizing Haley as a “bird brain” and not having what it takes to be president, along with the message, “If you voted for Nikki Haley … Donald Trump doesn’t want your vote.”

Trump is also seen downplaying the importance of winning over Haley supporters, stating, “I’m not sure we need too many,” when asked how he plans to bring them into his coalition.

Although Haley dropped out of the race in March, she received over 157,000 votes in the GOP primary on Tuesday, compared to Trump’s 790,368 votes.

Nikki Lu, Biden’s Pennsylvania campaign manager, stated that many Republicans in the state are “rejecting Donald Trump for his extremism” and that Trump has not made any efforts to win back these voters.

“Our team is committed to engaging with voters from every corner of Pennsylvania,” Lu said. “Ultimately, we are all Pennsylvanians, and there will always be a place in President Biden’s coalition for voters who believe in upholding our democracy and creating an economy that benefits everyone, not just the wealthy.”

The ads will be running this month on Meta, YouTube, connected TV, and online video platforms in battleground states.
