Biden and Democrats Adopt Similar Tactics to George Soros’ Strategy Used Against Convicted Felon Trump
President Joe Biden and other Democrats have recently adopted the suggestion from progressive billionaire George Soros’ son to consistently label former President Donald Trump as a “convicted felon.”
During a campaign event in White Plains, New York, Biden referred to Trump as a convicted felon, according to a report by Politico.
The New York Times also reported that Biden used the same description at a fundraiser in Connecticut.
Following Trump’s conviction in a New York trial, Alex Soros recommended to Democrats to consistently refer to Trump as a convicted felon.
Democratic Party members have been following this advice, with the Biden campaign using the term “convicted felon” more than a dozen times on its X account on Monday, according to Politico.
Despite this, Biden did not mention the federal gun case against his son, Hunter Biden, which began in Delaware on Monday.
Newsmax host Mark Halperin noted that some Democrats are resorting to these tactics out of desperation due to Biden’s lagging polling numbers.
Overall, there seems to be a divide among Democrats on whether emphasizing Trump’s status as a convicted felon is effective in addressing issues like inflation and immigration.
