Biden Condemns Antisemitic Acts as ‘Abhorrent’
President Joe Biden condemned recent acts of antisemitism on Friday, describing them as “abhorrent.”
Biden’s remarks were shared in a post on X.
He stated: “The unacceptable acts of Antisemitism this week – such as a demonstration glorifying the 10/7 attack, vandalism at Jewish residences, assaults on Jewish educators at universities, and harassment of subway passengers – are abhorrent. Antisemitism doesn’t just endanger Jewish Americans. It endangers all Americans and our core democratic values.”
Senator Tom Cotton, R-Ark., criticized Biden on Thursday, accusing the president of trying to appease the pro-Hamas faction of the Democratic Party by not taking action against demonstrators who vandalized statues with pro-Hamas slogans near the White House.
