Biden Criticizes Trump, Accusing Him of Being a ‘Convicted Felon’
President Joe Biden criticized former President Donald Trump on Monday, labeling him as a “convicted felon” who is attempting to run for the presidency again in American history.
Last week, Trump made history as the first U.S. president to be convicted of a crime, with a New York jury finding him guilty of falsifying documents to hide a payment made to silence a porn star before the 2016 election.
“This marks the first time in American history that a former president, who is a convicted felon, is now running for the presidency,” Biden remarked to a small group of donors at a fundraiser in Greenwich, Connecticut.
Biden also expressed concern about Trump’s criticisms of the U.S. Justice system, stating that they are “more damaging.”
