Biden Does Not Confirm If He Would Serve Full Second Term
President Joe Biden was asked if he would serve another full four-year term if reelected in November. He responded by ridiculing the reporter.
During a visit to the Philadelphia International Airport, Biden was asked by a reporter about serving his full term or handing over power to Vice President Kamala Harris. Biden jokingly questioned the reporter’s well-being before turning away.
As the oldest president ever to be elected, Biden’s age and mental fitness have been the subject of public concern. Polls have shown that many voters doubt his ability to handle the demands of the job.
Recent polls indicate that a majority of Democrats are in favor of replacing Biden as the Democratic Party candidate ahead of the election. Additionally, only 38% of Americans approve of Vice President Harris.
Biden and Harris recently traveled to Pennsylvania to launch a new Black voter outreach campaign. They visited a boarding school with a predominantly Black student body and spoke to members of the Black Chamber of Commerce.
