Biden offers free meals and accommodations for travelers if airlines disrupt their travel.

Speaking at a time when illegal migrants are flooding into the U.S., President Joe Biden himself announced that this holiday season air travel will be different. Airlines, under the leadership of Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, will offer free meals and hotels if they “interrupt” travel.

Biden, writing on X, which some say was ghostwritten by Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, states on Saturday: “Last holiday season, hundreds of travelers were stranded for days, some spending Christmas at an airport.”

“It’s unacceptable.”

“This year, nine major airlines heeded our call and will guarantee free rebooking, meals, and hotels if they’re at fault for a travel interruption.”

And while it’s unclear how an airline would purposely interrupt travel, according to AAA, air travel this year is set to be record-breaking.

“Year-end holiday travel volume,” Jana Tidwell, manager of public and government affairs for AAA Mid-Atlantic, says, “is expected to be the second highest since 2001, behind only 2019. Air travel volume is expected to be the highest on record and gas prices are the lowest they’ve been in more than two years — fueling a holiday travel season of ‘hustle and bustle’ that continues the strong demand for travel seen throughout 2023.”

Moreover, according to author Ashley St. Clair, airlines are “spying” on their employees to prevent them from speaking about transporting illegal migrants. 

“I was just told by an American Airlines pilot that they are requiring pilots download AA security software on their personal phones to prevent whistleblowers on transportation of migrants,” St. Clair tweeted. “This software has previously only been required on work devices.”
