Biden Vetoes Legislation to Increase Judges on Courts After Trump’s Victory
On Monday, Democratic President Joe Biden exercised his veto power on a bill intended to appoint 66 additional judges to the federally understaffed courts across the country. This legislation was initially a largely bipartisan initiative; however, it began losing support from members of his party following the election of Republican President-elect Donald Trump on November 5.
