President Joe Biden cast his early vote on Monday with just over a week to go until Election Day, as Vice President Kamala Harris and 45th President Donald Trump appear headed for a tight race to win the White House.

Biden, who was ousted out of the race by other Democrats in July, joined many Americans voted before next Tuesday’s polling day. He cast his vote at an early voting site in New Castle, Delaware.
While the president stood in line, he ended up behind a man wearing a pro-Trump hat.
The red hat, which from a distance resembled Trump’s classic Make America Great Again (MAGA) merchandise, read upon closer inspection: “Elect That Motherf—er Again!!”
“Let’s go vote,” Biden said as he headed to the polling place, where he greeted voters alongside Democrat Representative Lisa Blunt Rochester, who is running to represent the state in the Senate.
As Biden casted his vote, the room erupted with applause and cheers. This election season marks a departure for Biden, who has been either holding office or running for a position since 1970.
As Biden is on his way out, his hope is now in a new generation of Democrats, which includes three on the Delaware Ballot who are looking to make history.
Since the president has dropped out of the race, he has mainly stayed off the campaign trail and often out of the spotlight, giving voters a chance to know his vice president.
Meanwhile, Harris has said in past interviews on the campaign trail that she would not change anything about the Biden administration’s policies in the past four years.
With the election upon us, multiple polls have shown the race could come down to a few key battleground states.
