Biden’s Second Vacation in August Takes Him Westward
President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden are on vacation in Nevada, renting a private home on Lake Tahoe. They will spend about a week there, enjoying the tourist attraction and ski resorts. They will briefly pause their vacation to visit Maui, where a wildfire caused significant damage. The Bidens have previously vacationed in Delaware, South Carolina, Massachusetts, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Upon his return, President Biden will have to tackle various issues such as avoiding a government shutdown, passing a funding package for Ukraine and disaster aid, attending international summits, and promoting his legislative accomplishments. Some members of the Biden family are accompanying them on the trip.
