Bill Huizenga Tells Newsmax: Trump’s Fiery Leadership Contrasted with Biden’s Cold Approach
Rep. Bill Huizenga, R-Mich., discussed the contrasting energy levels between Donald Trump’s vigorous campaign and President Joe Biden’s moments of freezing on stage during an interview on Newsmax.
“You have a vigorous candidate and a, shall we be charitable, a not-so-vigorous candidate, and your viewers know exactly who is which,” Huizenga told Monday’s “Wake Up America.“
Huizenga emphasized that the upcoming debate will showcase these differences.
“What is going to be interesting is what happens when the debate occurs. No notes. All you got is a notepad, a pen, and a bottle of water up there,” he continued. “Donald Trump is going to be all over the place rhetorically.”
Huizenga also mentioned Trump’s recent activities in Michigan, where he participated in a community roundtable at a Black Detroit church and has gained increased support among Black voters.
Regarding Biden’s declining support in Michigan, Huizenga attributed it to Trump’s successful track record during his presidency compared to the less successful track record of the Biden administration.
He highlighted that Trump’s appeal extends across various demographics in Michigan, including the Arab, Jewish, and union worker populations.
Furthermore, Huizenga pointed out that Trump’s support among these demographics, along with the African American vote, solidifies his position as the leading candidate in Michigan.
