Blaine Holt Tells Newsmax that Biden is Pushing for a “3-State Solution”
Retired Air Force Brig. Gen. Blaine Holt expressed to Newsmax on Monday that the Biden administration’s choice to withhold sensitive intelligence on Hamas from Israel demonstrates a shift in priorities when it comes to resolving the conflict in the Middle East.
Holt believes that the White House is now more focused on how their response will impact voter support for Biden’s reelection rather than on assisting Israel.
“This just goes to show that the administration is filled with academics who lack an understanding of foreign policy and the intricacies of alliances,” Holt stated on Newsmax’s “Wake Up America.” “By teasing Israel with the potential of receiving crucial intelligence if they comply and scale back their actions, the administration is sending a damaging message throughout the ranks.”
The Washington Post reported that the Biden administration has decided to withhold key intelligence from Israel about the location of Hamas leaders in Gaza unless Israel halts its military operation in Rafah.
The administration is reportedly offering valuable support to Israel if they comply, including intelligence to locate Hamas leaders and their tunnels.
As the conflict in Gaza remains a point of contention for many young voters, with some polls indicating a decline in support for Biden, the administration’s actions have sparked criticism.
Holt condemned the White House’s behavior towards Israel as “dreadful” and emphasized that allies should support each other, not manipulate intelligence for political gain.
