Brown, Nevada Candidate, Tells Newsmax: ‘Strong Contrasts’ With Current Incumbent
Iraq War veteran and retired U.S. Army Capt. Sam Brown, who secured Nevada’s Republican nomination for the U.S. Senate last week, shared on Newsmax that there is a stark contrast between himself and current Democratic Sen. Jacky Rosen, much like the difference between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump.
Speaking on Newsmax’s “Sunday Report,” Brown emphasized that the key issues driving voters in Nevada and across the country are rising prices, economic challenges, and concerns about the border.
According to Brown, approximately 40% of Nevada voters are not affiliated with a specific party and are worried about basic necessities like food and shelter. Many families are even resorting to buying breakfast cereals for dinner due to the high prices of meat and produce.
With Nevada having the second-highest unemployment rate in the nation and utility bills doubling in a year, families in the state are facing significant financial strain.
Brown revealed that he received Trump’s endorsement and appreciated the former president’s support. He also discussed Trump’s proposal to eliminate taxes on tips, which Brown described as “brilliant” and necessary for Nevada’s service industry.
Regarding Newsmax TV, Brown highlighted it as the fastest-growing cable news channel in America and provided information on how to access the channel through cable, satellite systems, and streaming platforms.
