Chad Wolf responds to Newsmax with “Great Question” regarding Democrats’ protection of Mayorkas

According to Chad Wolf, a former acting Department of Homeland Security secretary under former President Donald Trump, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has caused significant harm to his office and the American people. Wolf expressed his disappointment that Senate Democrats protected Mayorkas from facing an impeachment trial. Wolf made these remarks in an interview with Newsmax on Sunday. 

Wolf emphasized the importance of accountability, stating that when the House passed impeachment articles against Mayorkas, it was necessary for the Senate to conduct a trial to present evidence and allow for a vote. While he acknowledged that a conviction was unlikely, Wolf believed the process was still necessary to present the case against Mayorkas. 

Wolf also commented on a recent border security bill that failed to pass in the House, noting that the legislation included measures that would have strengthened border security. He criticized the left for opposing strong border security measures and pointed out that Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer has delayed action on previous border security bills for over eight months.
