Challenger Criticizes Sen. Tester for Embracing ‘Woke Crap’ in Military
Tim Sheehy, a Republican running for Senate in Montana, released a digital ad focused on the military and banning “woke crap” from bases. In the ad, Sheehy criticizes China’s military, Mexican drug cartels, and drag queen story time on military bases. However, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin had already stated earlier this year that the Pentagon does not support or fund drag shows on bases. Sheehy, a combat-wounded Navy SEAL, aims to remove woke ideology from the military. He concludes the ad by criticizing incumbent Senator Jon Tester and stating his readiness to serve.
