Chicago IG: Mayor Johnson Accepts, Then Restricts Access to Luxury Gifts
According to a report from City Inspector General Deborah Witzburg released this week, Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson received over 200 designer gifts “on behalf of the city.” He did not adequately log these gifts, and his office improperly prevented inspectors from accessing the “gift room” at City Hall.
