Close Spending Deal Could Prevent Shutdown
The United States is one step closer to avoiding a partial government shutdown with the bipartisan agreement on a $1.59 trillion spending deal reached over the weekend. However, Congress still needs to act on President Joe Biden’s supplemental funding request, according to the White House.
