Congressman Comer tells Newsmax: Dr. Fauci is a Smooth Operator who Deceived the Nation

House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer, R-Ky., expressed to Newsmax on Monday that Dr. Anthony Fauci refused to take responsibility for the COVID-19 pandemic in his Capitol Hill testimony, blaming others instead. Comer stated that Fauci, once a prominent figure in guiding pandemic policies, had deceived the American people.

Comer criticized Fauci for passing the blame onto the CDC and other entities for policy decisions like social distancing, vaccine mandates, and mask requirements. He emphasized that Fauci’s actions had detrimental effects on public health, education, national debt, and the economy.

Comer called Fauci a “mad scientist” and emphasized the need to hold him accountable for any criminal wrongdoing related to his handling of the pandemic. He highlighted Fauci’s numerous mistakes, lies, and attempts to cover up the truth.

Regarding Fauci’s reputation as a leading scientist, Comer stated that evidence now shows Fauci’s errors and cover-ups. He believes that the majority of Americans recognize Fauci’s lack of accountability and the harm he has caused.
