Court Affirms Ruling Blocking Alabama’s Absentee Ballot Regulations
The federal appeals court ruled on Friday that a portion of a new Alabama law, limiting assistance with absentee ballot applications, will remain blocked. The court sided with voting rights groups who argued that the law discriminated against voters who are blind, disabled, or unable to read.
