Crypto Expert Tells Newsmax: FIT21 Bill Offers ‘Clarification’

Cryptocurrency expert Michael Zuccarelli praised the recent passing of the House bill known as FIT21, stating that it offers much-needed clarity for the crypto industry. In an interview with Newsmax, Zuccarelli discussed the significance of the legislation.

Zuccarelli, host of the “Hawk Crypto Mining” show on YouTube, appeared on “Greg Kelly Reports” to talk about the bill and the broader landscape of cryptocurrency. The Financial Innovation and Technology for the 21^st Century Act, which passed in the House with a vote of 279-136, categorizes cryptocurrencies as commodities, limits the SEC’s role, and supports innovation.

Zuccarelli explained, “We need a common-sense framework for Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. This bill will provide much-needed clarity and guidance, distinguishing between commodities and securities. The SEC’s aggressive tactics have led to confusion and uncertainty in the industry. FIT21 will help establish a clear regulatory framework.”
